I've been working on this demo reel for a few months now, and it's finally finished. It's mainly a character modeling reel showcasing my character design and poly modeling skills, including texturing, unwrapping, and normal map generation. There is also some extra stuff like camera tracking and composting near the end.

BallMax 1.0

BallMax is a simple ball rig for 3ds max. As an animator, I want a rig to be flexible yet simple to use. Searching through the Internet, there doesn't seem to be a generic ball rig that fits my need. The closest ones I found were all for Maya and none for 3ds max.

New Maxscript: BL Rig Renamer

By Bruce Lin on 21-Jul-07 00:48. Comments (1)
I've written this script for animators like me, by which I mean the ones who are tired of typing the names for every bones, helpers, IKs, splines, control objects in every custom rig that were created. Personally, I don't like to name objects during the creation of a rig. After a rig is done, it usually takes quite a bit of time for me just to type the names for all the parts. That just gets old. The rename tool that comes with max is great for general use, but in this situation, it's not helpful at all. After searching through the net without luck (I am sure I am reinventing the wheel here, but I cant find a maxscript that does what I want), I have decided to open the maxscript reference to learn maxscript to make my own tool. And Here it is my first maxscript.

Now, I am happy to say that the website is officially up and running... Well, the basic framework anyway.
